Two careers, on either side of the gap between science and investment.
Cognelis is led by two operators with roughly sixty years of combined experience — about twenty-five each spent evaluating science before capital commits. One built medical and clinical strategy at a global pharmaceutical group, leading due diligence for licensing deals and acquisitions. The other spent two decades in venture capital, across more than sixty-five investments and several spin-outs structured out of corporate research. We bring scientific, regulatory, IP, commercial, and financing judgement into one room — a combination most institutions have to assemble from several advisers at once.
